Ravichandran Ashwin Shares Important Message for Citizens of India

The whole world is in self shock amid the outbreak of coronavirus across the globe. Everyone is in self-isolation due to the pandemic outbreak of coronavirus. Many countries have gone into lockdown mode to and cut off any international travel as a precautionary measure to keep it’s citizens safe. Countries have been completely shut off from the outside world as they have been affected the most due to the spread of COVID -19. Ravichandran Ashwin took it upon himself to share a message of safety and realization to his followers.

India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took to twitter and warned the citizens of India to consider the threat posed by the Covid -19 virus seriously. Ashwin states that if the coronavirus pandemic escalates, it could cause mayhem across our nation. Reminding the people that India is densely populated, Ashwin says that a very large part of them don’t have access to information about the do’s and don’t too.  In order to affect change and promote people to stay indoors, the 33-year old Indian spinner also changed the name of his Twitter handle to “lets stay indoors India.”

“Taking in all information (both authentic and some seemingly panicky ones). One thing seems certain “The next 2 weeks are going to be extremely crucial”. Every city in India should literally feel deserted for the next 2 weeks, cos if this escalates it will be mayhem,” India’s Test off-spinner Ashwin tweeted.

“We need to remember we are a densely populated country and a very large part of them don’t have access to information,”  the Indian spinner added.

Positive cases of Corona Virus across India have been growing at a very rapid rate as the total number of cases has crossed more than 500 people.

On the suggestion of the central government, many states have decided to put their major cities in lockdown. The central government has in fact also advised the state governments to take legal action against people who offend the governmental quarantine guidelines and step out of the house. As of now, 19 states of India are completely lockdown.
