Ravindra Jadeja keeps writing spectacular pages in his cricketing history, having been instrumental in India’s Champions Trophy 2025 victory. His winning over in the final against New Zealand, topped with the winning boundary, clinched India’s third trophy and his second in the history of the tournament. The IPL is now on the radar of the star all-rounder, as he joins hands with Chennai Super Kings again for the 2025 season.

Jadeja has already started rigorous net practice at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, along with his CSK colleagues, in the quest for a record-breaking sixth IPL title. In a video posted by CSK’s official social media channels, he was seen excited to be back with the franchise, particularly looking forward to being reunited with MS Dhoni.

“Feeling extremely good to be back home and extremely excited to be with the team,” Ravindra Jadeja said. “Looking forward to meeting the one and only Thala. Thala, the boss!”

While Jadeja and his colleagues are doing the hard work in Chennai, Dhoni is in Dehradun, celebrating Rishabh Pant’s elder sister’s wedding. With his wife, Sakshi Singh, the ex-CSK captain was spotted enjoying the party, dancing to Atif Aslam’s popular number ‘Tu Jaane Naa.’

Viral clips also showed Dhoni occupying the dance floor with cricketing mates Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina, lending a vintage flavour to the fans. With CSK set to begin their IPL 2025 campaign with Ruturaj Gaikwad at the helm, their journey begins with a blockbuster match against Mumbai Indians on March 23.

The veteran pair of Dhoni and Jadeja will again try to lead the team from the front, while Gaikwad will seek to bounce back after a disappointing 2024 season in which CSK did not qualify for the Playoffs in his maiden year as captain. With new aspirations and battle-hardened campaigners in their fold, CSK will be eager to regain dominance in the tournament.
