Ravindra Jadeja Found New Way Of Spreading Covid-19 Awareness

On Tuesday, the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi announced a nationwide 21-day lockdown in the country following the rise of coronavirus pandemic positive cases. However, the Indian allrounder Ravindra Jadeja on Thursday pulled out an old video to caution citizens and spread awareness of how to fight the deadly virus.

The veteran Indian all-rounder went on to share an old video of Australian Usman Khawaja’s run out against India in 2019 at the Adelaide Oval in the first ODI. Khawaja had cut the ball in the front of the point and taken off for a run, Jadeja, who is one of the best fielders in the world, was quick to the ball and picked it up with one hand and hit the stumps at the non-striker’s end direct, to run out Khawaja.

Most of the sporting events have been called off or postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic that has brought the world to a standstill. The Indian Premier League (IPL) which was scheduled to start after April 15 is now at risk with the Indian government now announcing a 21-day lockdown in the country. This lockdown will go on till April 15, putting the IPL 2020 at a risk. Though, there has not been any official word from the BCCI.

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus positive patients in India went past 600 with 1 people losing their lives on Tuesday, as per the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

The entire world is slowly moving towards a lockdown due to the scare of the ever-escalating situation concerning the World Health Organisation-recognized pandemic that is the Coronavirus. Everything- schools, colleges, airports, railway stations, gyms, sporting events, movies, offices- have been put under lockdown as the world continues to self-isolate in order to control the pandemic.
