The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is the team that is yet to win an IPL Trophy despite featuring in three finals. This year, they had a great time at the IPL 2018 Auction and unlike most other teams, they have actually managed to improve their team from the last year. They have added meat to their bowling attack which compliments their heavenly batting line-up. This year, Royal Challengers Bangalore are finally up to the challenge.

RCB have Virat Kohli. That amounts to two batsmen at least. They have India’s two of the smartest spinners in Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal. These three currently are in a league of their own. They have Parthiv Patel, Umesh Yadav, Manan Vohra and Sarfaraz Khan as support. If these four can support the top cast, RCB will be an unbeatable side.

Foreign contingent:

RCB have AB De Villiers. That amounts to two batsmen at least. In Moeen Ali, Colin De Grandhomme, Corey Anderson and Chris Woakes they have four of the finest all-rounders in the T20 World. They can pick and choose the right combination according to pitch conditions and team balance. In Brendon McCullum and Tim Southee, they have two experienced compasses.

Player availability:

Pre-season, they lost Nathan Coulter-Nile due to an injury and replaced him with Corey Anderson. Apart from these, all other players are fit and raring to go.

RCB have a brilliant backup base, they can potentially have numerous successful combinations. On a spinning track, if needed they can include Moeen Ali in place of the Grandhomme. If they need someone to attack at the top, they can choose Anderson over Grandhomme as well. They can well play Tim Southee on a track that assists fast bowlers. RCB have the option of choosing De Kock in place of Parthiv also.
