Team India has won the second One-Day International game against South Africa in Centurion by nine-wickets and goes 2-0 up in the series. After a stellar performance by bowlers, Indian batsmen didn’t put a foot wrong in chasing 119-run down comfortably.

This was a horror of a captaincy debut for Aiden Markram, who first lost the toss followed by a forgettable day by his batsmen. India’s spin twin wracked the havoc and dismissed them for 118, where Yuzvendra Chahal got his maiden fifer and Kuldeep Yadav managed three wickets.

Rohit Sharma was in hurry to finish this game early but he threw his wicket to Kagiso Rabada after a brisk 15. Outcomes centurion from last game, Kohli, at Centurion and shared an unbeaten 93-run stand for the second wicket with Shikhar Dhawan, who scored his 24th ODI half-century.

On the other hand, Kohli remained not out at 46 to chase the target down in 20 overs.

Now both teams will travel to Cape Town, which will host the third ODI game on Wednesday. It will be a hard task for South Africa to come back in the series without their two best limited-over batsmen. But if they want, Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock have to pull their sleeves up and do the job in absence of star players.
