Rishabh Pant, the left-handed wicketkeeper-batsman is fondly called ‘Baby sitter’ by his teammates as well as fans and other people. He earned the tag during a sledging incident between India and Australia when they were playing a Boxing Day Test. Australia’s stand-in captain Tim Paine had jokingly asked Rishabh Pant to babysit his kids while Pant had called Paine a ‘temporary captain’.
The tag got more attention especially when Paine’s wife took to social media and shared a picture with Rishabh Pant holding one of her babies. However, it was seen on Friday at the Eden Gardens that Pant was sharing some playful moments with Zoravar; whois the son of his Delhi Capitals’ and India teammate Shikhar Dhawan. Pant was seen put a towel around Zoravar and then started to swing him on the ground.

They won by seven wickets and moved to fourth place in the points table. He shared a 105-run partnership with Shikhar Dhawan after Delhi lost Prithvi Shaw (14) and their captain Shreyas Iyer (6) in quick succession. Shikhar Dhawan smashed an unbeaten 97 off 63, including 11 fours and 2 sixes. After Pant’s dismissal, Dhawan and Colin Ingram added the rest of the runs and won the game comfortably with seven balls to spare.
