Notably, Rishabh Pant became the talk of the town when he was seen calling back his batters after the on-field umpires did not check for possible waist-high delivery in the dramatic final over of the 24th match of the IPL 2022. Here is the video of the incident:

Needing 36 runs from the final over, DC batter Rovman Powell managed to smash three successive sixes on the first three deliveries off the over bowled by Obed McCoy. DC needed another 18 more from the final three deliveries.
After the third ball of the over, Kuldeep Yadav, who was at the non-striker’s end, gestured to the umpires demanding that the last delivery be checked for a possible no-ball on height. Powell was seen having a chat with the umpires as well. The umpires stood their ground, saying the delivery was legal and they never had the intentions of referring it to the TV umpire.
