Recalling the nerves and excitement of his debut, Rishabh Pant emphasized the warm reception he received from the senior members of the squad, which played a significant role in easing his transition into the team environment.

“The majority of the time I didn’t feel like that. I was in awe at the beginning. You had watched all of them on TV. But they were all welcoming. Even the super seniors made me comfortable,” Rishabh Pant shared in Star Sports ‘Believe’ series, reflecting on the inclusive team culture.

Acknowledging the nurturing environment cultivated within the team, Rishabh Pant highlighted the importance of feeling at home, especially as a young player stepping onto the international stage.

“It’s the team culture to make everyone comfortable. And when it happens at the start, it’s good. Because at 17-18 years, you know nothing about life,” Rishabh Pant expressed, underlining the invaluable support he received during his early days.

Drawing insights from his experiences, Pant emphasized the significance of learning and growth, recognizing the lessons embedded in every opportunity and challenge encountered.

“You have experiences of course, I tried to learn as a kid. I think all of these things are a benefit, not everyone gets experiences like these. And the things you learn from your experiences help you a lot in your life. Your brain starts reading life like that,” Rishabh Pant remarked, emphasizing the transformative power of experience.
