The most celebrated leagues of India, the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin from March 23. All the players are preparing to give their best on the field for their respective franchises. India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is not different. Pant will play for Delhi Capitals this season in the upcoming IPL. He had a wonderful season with the same team last year where he amassed 684 runs including a century; which made him the second highest run-getter in the tournament. With his fearless attitude, Pant will be one of the key players in this season.

Recently in an interview with CricketNext, Rishabh Pant shared many things from related to his form to how he prepares for the upcoming season and many more.

While talking about the pressure of IPL and International level, he said that both of them are different. But as of now, he just wanted to perform well and help his team to win the title. He has been in the radar of the selectors for the many days and already he has played for India across formats. Many have found a great successor of MS Dhoni in him. The squad of the ICC World Cup has not yet been chosen and this IPL will be crucial for him. He has to perform exceptionally well to get selected.

“That thing will always be there on my mind, but right now I am not focusing on that. I am more focused on IPL and want to help the team do well,” said Pant

“I have talked about my game with Mahi bhai and as a player, you need to keep improving every match every day. His aura is totally different. When he comes into the dressing room, his calmness is legendary and you can talk to him about anything and any problem. That’s the kind of aura he shares with everyone. He makes you comfortable and gives you the right advice,” Pant added.
