India and South Africa locked horns with each other in the third game of the five-match ODI series at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The Indian skipper, Rishabh Pant was involved in such a situation as he grabbed a sharp catch brilliantly which sent back Dwaine Pretorious to the pavilion on 20 to the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal.
Earlier, after winning the toss, the visiting skipper, Temba Bavuma won the toss and decided to bowl first because of the unpredictability of the conditions. Neither of the teams made any changes in their playing XI. After posting a target of 180 in the first innings, India did a brilliant job with the ball as well.

Courtesy of the half-centuries from both the openers, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan, followed by a little cameo in the slog overs from Hardik Pandya helped them post a decent total. Defending the target, Indian bowlers left no stone unturned from the word go as they looked in good rhythm.
The visitors kept on losing wickets in the power play as they were 40/3 and the spinners were bowling well. Yuzvendra Chahal was getting the bowl to turn and he came to bowl the 9th over of the innings.

Dwaine Pretorius was facing him and Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a quicker and flatter delivery on the last ball of over. Pretorious made an attempt to play it to the square of the wicket but nicked it in the attempt. Rishabh Pant was quick to react and he grabbed an absolutely sharp catch. His brilliance behind the stumps ended Pretorious’ stay at the crease.
