Without a doubt, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper, Virat Kohli is arguably the best batsman in the world currently, especially in limited-overs cricket. Kohli (72* off 47 balls) on Thursday not only won hearts with the bat but also showed why fans call him the king after the match. After the match, Kohli’s Dhoni-esque gesture towards Riyan Parag has been appreciated by the fans. 

Like fans usually see CSK skipper MS Dhoni passing tips or autographing bats of young players of the opposition, Kohli did something similar when Riyan asked him for an autograph on his bat.

Parag is a promising cricketer who has contributed well for the Royals over the last two seasons. Meanwhile, RCB registered a thrashing 10-wicket win as Devdutt Padikkal brought up his maiden IPL century and the fastest by an uncapped player. He looked in ominous form as he played some exotic shots and gave a glimpse of his good form.

RCB managed to stretch their unbeaten streak to 4 matches in a row in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. They comfortably chased down a tricky target of 178 runs with 10 wickets in hand and more than 3 overs to spare as Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal came down all guns blazing. RCB has once again reached the top of the IPL 2021 points table.

Padikkal and Kohli forged an unbeaten opening partnership of 181 runs with RCB captain remaining not out at 71 while young Karnataka opener smashed as many as 11 boundaries and six maximums to reach his maiden century in just 51 balls.
