Rohit Sharma has just added the priciest jewel to his enviable car collection—a fiery red Lamborghini Urus SE worth a staggering ₹4.57 crore (ex-showroom). The Indian ODI captain’s new luxury SUV is more than just a head-turner; it carries a personal touch that speaks volumes about his life off the pitch.

The Urus SE sports a customised number plate – 3015 – a clever tribute to his children’s birthdays and his iconic jersey number. Rohit’s daughter, Samaira, was born on December 30, 2018, and his son, Ahaan, on November 15, 2024. Combine the dates (30 + 15) and you get 45—the number he proudly wears for India and the Mumbai Indians.
It’s not the first time Rohit has merged personal milestones with his automobiles. His previous car bore the number 264, commemorating his world-record ODI score against Sri Lanka in 2014.

Performance-wise, the Lamborghini Urus SE is a beast—pumping out 800hp and 950Nm of torque, rocketing from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. While Rohit rarely flaunts his passion for luxury wheels, his garage tells its own story. His collection already boasts a BMW M5 (₹1.99 crore), Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d (₹1.58 crore), Mercedes-Benz S-Class (₹1.98 crore) and Range Rover HSE LWB (₹3.68 crore).

On the cricket front, Rohit has been away from the international scene since June’s IPL, where he captained the Mumbai Indians. Following India’s T20 World Cup triumph last year, he bid farewell to T20Is and, in May this year, to Test cricket, handing the baton to Shubman Gill.

Fans will have to wait until October to see the ‘Hitman’ back in action, when India tour Australia for three ODIs and five T20Is. Until then, Rohit’s new red monster might just be the star attraction.
