Indian captain Rohit Sharma burst into laughter after Kuldeep Yadav turned into a fast bowler during the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 against New Zealand. The 21st match of the tournament was taking place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. Kuldeep Yadav had not been having a great day on the field during the ongoing game against New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2023.
The leg-spinner had been targeted by the Kiwi batters and had been taken to task. But he had also bowled good lengths. During the 33rd over of the innings, Kuldeep Yadav turned into a fast bowler and bowled a seam-up delivery.

Daryl Mitchell had no clue about it and was hit on the arm hard as he tried to play a reverse sweep. It was a 113.7kph delivery. As Kuldeep Yadav bowled a seamed-up delivery and hit Daryl Mitchell on the arm, skipper Rohit Sharma couldn’t believe it. He burst into laughter and gave a cheeky smile as well that caught the attention of many.

Coming to the match, after India removed both the openers, New Zealand played magnificently well. Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra brought the team back into the game and were making sure that they ended up with a big score on the board. However, India made a strong comeback as they picked wickets at regular intervals and restricted the run flow. They would be hoping to end the innings on as less runs as possible.

India eventually lost the match by 7 wickets, but Kuldeep Yadav’s seam-up delivery was one of the highlights of the game. It was a moment of humor and lightheartedness in an otherwise tense match.
