Team India captain, Rohit Sharma is currently on a break from international cricket, but he still managed to play the game he loves. The veteran Indian opener was recently spotted playing a game of gully cricket with a bunch of kids in Mumbai. A Twitter user shared a video where the 35-year-old was seen batting. In the nine-second video, Rohit can be seen wearing a smile after hitting the ball straight down the road.
The senior batter was also recently seen doing the running drills to prepare himself for the upcoming rescheduled Test match in England. Meanwhile, Rohit seems to be enjoying his break from the hectic cricket schedule. Skipper Rohit Sharma, along with former skipper, Virat Kohli, and express pacer Jasprit Bumrah, was rested from the ongoing five-match T20I series against South Africa. However, the squad for the England tour reached London earlier on Thursday as they are slated to play the rescheduled Test match followed by the T20I and ODI series against the Three Lions.

This will be Rohit Sharma’s first away assignment after being named as Indian skipper and he will want to give his 100% with both bat and as a captain.
The Test match is scheduled to commence on July 1 and after that, the focus will be shifted towards the three-match T20I series taking place from July 7 (Thursday), and then as many ODIs will be starting on July 12 (Tuesday). Team India has already announced its squad for the Test series.

Meanwhile, another Indian squad will be touring Ireland for a two-match T20I series against the home team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already announced the Indian team for the tour with star all-rounder Hardik Pandya named captain of the second-string squad. Experienced pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named the vice-captain.
