Rohit Sharma is the most successful captain in the history of the biggest T20 league in the world, having led Mumbai Indians to a record five titles. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have the next best trophy cabinet, with three.
In IPL 2020, Rohit had managed to score 332 runs from 12 games as MI dominated the season in the United Arab Emirates. Despite not having the most prolific of seasons, the MI skipper had amassed a match-winning half-century in the final against Delhi Capitals (DC) as Mumbai clinched the title.
Mumbai Indians will be commencing their campaign with the season-opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IPL 2021 will be played across six venues and none of the teams will be having the advantage of playing home games. The six venues are Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.
