“CM Eknath Shinde told me that such an event has never been organised in the Vidhan Bhawan complex. Bringing a cricket World Cup to India after 13 years was a dream come true. It was a solid team effort,” Rohit said.

Rohit went on to highlight the spectacular catch taken by Suryakumar Yadav to send back David Miller, a pivotal moment in the game. In a light-hearted manner, Rohit quipped about what would have happened had Surya dropped it.
