In the 25th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, Delhi Capitals registered a comprehensive win over up Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owing to a fiery knock from the young opener, Prithvi Shaw. The Capitals registered a stunning victory against KKR at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to surpass the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) regain the second position on the points table.

Prithvi Shaw was slooshed on to the KKR bowlers from the word go as he gave his team a jaw-dropping start by smashing six consecutive boundaries off seamer Shivam Mavi in the first over. Shaw ended up playing a flashy knock of 41-ball 92 which came including eleven boundaries and three maximums.

Shaw got apt support from Shikhar Dhawan, who added 46 runs to the scoreboard. The exploits by Prithvi resulted in DC chasing the target of 155 runs with more than four overs to spare and scripting their fifth win in the ongoing T20 Extravaganza. After the game, Shaw was also honored with the Man of the Match Award.

However, amidst all the wishes for his extravagant knock, one that stood out came from the batsman’s rumored girlfriend Prachi Singh. Though there has been no confirmation regarding the love affair between the two either from the actress or the cricketer, their constant chatter on social media and Prachi’s regular posts praising the young opener reveals a different story.

On Thursday, April 29 too, the 25-year-old actress took to her official Instagram handle to congratulate her rumored boyfriend for the standout performance against KKR. Posting a picture of Shaw receiving the Man of the Match Award, Prachi wrote, “I’m so proud of you!”
