Sachin Tendulkar Asks Roger Federer To Validate His Shot

Legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar on Friday sought tips from Swiss Tennis stalwart, Roger Federer. Tendulkar took to Instagram and shared a slow-motion video, in which he can be seen playing tennis forehand smash. Captioning the video on Instagram, Sachin wrote: “Hey @rogerfederer! Any tips for my forehand?”

Earlier in June, the twenty-time Grand Slam singles champion Roger Federer went on to announced that will not be able to take part in the grand slams of the 2020 season as he will be undergoing a second knee operation in a matter of months.

On the other hand, Sachin holds the record of being the highest run-scorer in Test cricket. He also amassed 51 Test centuries during his cricketing career, most by any player. Even in ODI cricket, he has achieved similar brilliance as their also he is the leading run-scorer with the tally of 18,426 runs in ODI which includes 49 centuries.

Recently, reminiscing about the 1983 World Cup triumph, the legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday said that it was a “landmark event in my life”. On Thursday, India has celebrated the completion of 37 years of their maiden World Cup victory under the leadership of Kapil Dev.

Sachin took to Twitter to write, “The #WorldCup1983 Final like for many was a landmark event in my life. Still recall my friends & I celebrating all wickets right from BS Sandhu’s epic delivery to Greenidge to Kapil Paaji’s catch. We jumped & celebrated the fall of each wicket! What an evening it was.”
