The Indian Tennis star, Sania Mirza has been off the court for quite some time now. She recently hosted the Indian Sports Honours which celebrated outstanding sports personalities in India and their contribution to their respective sport.
However, she recently confirmed that her sister Anam will be getting hitched this December. She also revealed that the bride would be none other than Mohammad Azharuddin’s son, Asad. While Azharuddin was recently elected as the president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, his son is playing for Goa in the domestic tournaments. Anam Mirza is a fashion stylist.

Asaduddin made his first-class debut during the Ranji Trophy last season. He played two games for Goa but couldn’t make a huge impact. In fact, in the three innings he played, he scored just 17 runs at an average of 5.66 and was subsequently left out of the side. He also represented Hyderabad Cricket Association Colts XI in 2009.
Mirza confirmed the news of the marriage to Times of India (TOI) and termed Asad as a lovely boy. She said, “She is actually getting married in December. We just came back from her bachelorette trip to Paris. We are really excited. She is marrying a lovely boy. His name is Asad and he happens to be the son of Mohammad Azharuddin and we are really excited about it.”
There have been multiple occasions when wives and girlfriends of cricketers have not been allowed on tours. In fact, there have been extreme cases where Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma got married to the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli and she has been blamed for her husband’s failures. People have trolled her for being present and ruining Kohli’s innings.

Sania has come in the defense of that and said such things make no sense. During the Indian Economic Summit, she said, “Anushka Sharma is blamed if Virat makes a zero, like what does that have anything to do with anything. It makes no sense.”
