He also feels that Indian skipper Virat Kohli is doing some extraordinary job for Team India in the pursuit of the same. Manjrekar believes Virat puts heart and soul in the game and his exploits would see people coming out to watch Test cricket more.

Moreover, coming to the Windies Tests, the young Indian debutant Prithvi Shaw was awarded the player of the series. After he hit his maiden century in the Rajkot Test, Shaw’s unbeaten 33 in the second innings in Hyderabad helped India run-riot inside three days.
