Reflecting on the wedding location, Sarfaraz expressed, “The Almighty had decided that it was my destiny to get married in Kashmir. I have received a lot of love here and whenever I have time, I will visit here.”

When questioned about his absence from the Indian cricket team despite consistent domestic performances, Sarfaraz remained optimistic, stating, “The Almighty had written that I would get married here. In the same way, if he has written that I will play for India, I will.”

Sarfaraz Khan has exhibited remarkable batting prowess in the domestic circuit for the past four years. In the 2022-23 Ranji Trophy, he accumulated 556 runs in six matches at an average of 92.66, including three centuries. The previous season saw him amass 982 runs at an average of 122.75.
