Former Pakistan fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar holds the record for bowling the fastest delivery (161.3) ever bowled in the history of cricket. He represented the men-in-green in more than 200 international matches while managing to scalp more than 400 wickets. The right-arm pacer has been covering the game with various broadcasters across nations after his retirement post the World Cup 2011.
Shoaib Akhtar often shares his views on his YouTube channel which has more than 3 million subscribers. Meanwhile, he became the talk of the town on social media for making some huge remarks about the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Akhtar showered some huge praise over the right-hand batter during his recent interaction with Sportskeeda.

Shoaib Akhtar has slammed the critics for bashing Virat Kohli, who is witnessing a rough patch in his career. He wants the cricket fraternity to ‘respect’ the Indian batter for achieving some brilliant milestones and his contribution to the Indian team. The Pakistani pacer reckons that the right-hander will score multiple centuries in the coming time. He confessed that the tough phase is preparing Kohli for better things to come.
Shoaib Akhtar explained, “Say good things about Virat Kohli. Give him the respect he deserves. As a Pakistani, I am saying that he is the greatest player of all time. I want him to score 110 centuries in international cricket. I want him to play till the age of 45.”

He further added, “This tough situation is preparing you for 110 centuries. People are writing you off, tweeting against you. If you tweet about Diwali, you are criticized. People tweet about your wife and kid. When you lose the World Cup, you are heavily criticized. Things cannot get any worse. Just go out there, and show everyone who Virat Kohli is.”
