Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has the high hope on the former World Cup-winning Pakistan captain Imran Khan as he believes that Khan can bring the positive changes in the country after his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has recently won the general elections and Khan is set to become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan.

While Imran Khan is known one of the best captains in Pakistan cricket history, he is now probably going to begin his new journey as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The 1992 Pakistan World Cup-winning captain’s party PTI has led in the final result of the 11th general assembly elections. Though they haven’t earned the majority of seats, the party is enough favourite to take the leading role.

Akhtar believes the former Pakistan cricket captain can help the country to become the Asian Tiger.

After meeting Khan, Akhtar said, “I believe that he can help Pakistan become Asian Tiger but the whole nation must stand by his side if we are to succeed.

Akhtar congratulates the entire nation and the PTI workers and also has opened up his confidence on PTI chairman.

The former Pakistan speed star said, “I would like to congratulate the entire nation and workers of PTI. I’m confident that Imran bhai will deliver in accordance with the expectations of the people of Pakistan.”

Akhtar further added that the other parties put good fights, but Imran Khan surpassed them with the ‘never say die’ attitude with determination and hard work.

The Rawalpindi said, “Other parties did put up a good fight but they did not have the presence of [Imran] Khan in their ranks. He has a never say die attitude coupled with determination and hard work which is the main reason behind his success.”
