The 30th Match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 was a high-voltage game, which saw Rajasthan Royals (RR) winning a close game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Though the Kolkata camp gave a tough fight, RR managed to get over the line against KKR, who lost their third match on the trot. KKR skipper fought brilliantly but couldn’t take his team over the line. After his dismissal, Shreyas Iyer had a heated conversation with KKR Coach Brendon McCullum over his dismissal.

Kolkata Knight Riders started their campaign on a winning note as they registered a dominating win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening encounter. They won 3 out of the 4 opening games they played, however, post that, they have lost 3 consecutive games.

The Kolkata team was on course for a win in the game against Rajasthan, but it was the RR leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal who turned the game on its head with his hat-trick. There was a lot of tension on the ground and it was clearly visible to the fans as Shreyas Iyer had a heated conversation with Brendon McCullum.

After winning the toss, Shreyas Iyer opted to bowl but the decision turned out to be a nightmare as the RR batter smashed the KKR bowlers all over the park. KKR was given a pretty tough target of 218 runs. The KKR batsmen were going fine about the task in hand till the 17th over, but things went haywire as Chahal picked up a hat-trick. Shreyas became Chahal’s first scalp, followed by Shivam Mavi and Cummins to complete the hat-trick.

The KKR skipper was certainly not happy with something and his displeasure was caught on the camera after he got out. Shreyas Iyer was seen complaining about something to the coach Brendon McCullum. KKR has now slipped down to the sixth place after their third loss on the trot. On the other hand, Rajasthan is in the second position with 8 points in 6 matches.
