Gujarat Titans (GT) opener, Shubman Gill took to Twitter on late Friday (April 29) and requested the richest man on the planet, Elon Musk. He apparently urged Billionaire to also buy the food delivery app Swiggy as they are not delivering fast enough. Notably, Musk is the new boss of the micro-blogging website Twitter and he aims to improve the functioning of the food delivery platform.
Time and again, the Tesla boss has emphasized the same as well. Ever since Elon Musk has become the sole owner of Twitter, there have been a lot of jokes on social media with fans cheekily asking the billionaire to take over the brand they use and improve its quality. As Gill seems to be an avid user of Swiggy, he wants Musk to gain command of the app.

Shubman Gill had tweeted, “Elon musk, please buy swiggy so they can deliver on time. @elonmusk #swiggy”. The comment section got flooded in no time as fans came up with a plethora of responses to the post. While many found the young batter’s tweet humorous, several also pulled his leg for ordering packaged food.

Meanwhile, Shubman Gill is currently playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, wherein he’s plying his trade for the new franchise Gujarat Titans (GT). The young batter started off the tournament with a bang and was expected to pile up a plethora of runs in the ongoing IPL edition. However, runs have dried up for him lately. As we head towards the business end of the competition, GT would want the star batter to get his mojo back.

As far as his numbers are concerned, Shubman Gill has slammed 229 runs in eight matches at a below-par average of 28.63. Nonetheless, his recent failures haven’t really affected the team as GT has registered 7 wins of their first eight games. Hence, the Hardik Pandya-led side is just one win away from officially securing a place in the IPL 2022 playoffs. Skipper Hardik, Rashid Khan, and David Miller were the key performers for the side.
