Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar fans, rejoice!!! It’s finally official. A couple of months back, Smartron, the Hyderabad based smartphone maker, had announced its plans to make an SRT-branded smartphone. A lot has already been said and there have been quite a few speculations about some revolutionary chipset technology that Smartron is going to incorporate in the Phone named after the Master Blaster.
Finally, Smartron has officially announced the date of the launch of the Phone. For starters, Smartron is a Hyderabad based technology company and had earlier roped in Sachin Tendulkar as an investor. They even came up with a high-end smartphone priced alongside the famous One Plus Two. However, the Phone failed to capture the users’s imagination, following which, the tech company is said to have invested in research and development.
The research has now been completed and the product is almost ready for mass production. The tech company yesterday announced that the hyped SRT Phone will be launched in an event in New Delhi on the 3rd May. The Phone will be launched at the hands of none other than Sachin Tendulkar. The Phone has already gathered a lot of traction among the Master’s fans and thus, the event promises to be a big one for the company.
