Shankar has also got the favor of the former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly who says that Jadeja should not be included the World Cup team according to Dada “Vijay Shankar bowled beautifully in the Nagpur match and Shankar deserves a spot in the World Cup” quoting in the Hindustan Times.

Shankar has a promising performance and also had shown his big blokes in New Zealand and can be a big factor whereas Jadeja’s only plus point against Shankar is his brilliant fielding and also can build middle-over pressure on the opposition. It would be a crucial selection for the selectors between these two.
