The pandemic spread of the COVID-19 virus has brought the world down to a standstill. With no cricket going on, all the cricketers have a lot of free time on their hands right now. Many cricketers have also been proactive on their social media in the past few weeks due to the lockdown. On Wednesday, former India captain and current BCCI president Sourav Ganguly took a trip down the memory lane recalling India’s famous win against Australia at the Eden Gardens.
A twitter user shared the celebratory moments from the 2001 Test. The tweet caught the former Indian captain’s attention as Ganguly retweeted the post and captioned it with, “What a win.” In that Test, India clinched a 171-run win over Australia and became the third team in the history of Test cricket to win a match after being forced to follow-on.
