India clinched a comfortable victory against the hosts Sri Lanka in the fourth T20I of the 2018 Nidahas Trophy at R.Premadasa Stadium (Colombo). Among the records in the match, the special one was KL Rahul’s hit-wicket dismissal which is the first hit-wicket dismissal by any Indian batsman in T20I history.
Due to the earlier wet outfield, the toss was delayed. As a result, one-over was reduced from each side.
India decided to field first after winning the toss and restricted the hosts for 152/9 at the end of 19 overs.
In reply, India comfortably reached the target in 17.3 overs after losing 4 wickets. India won this match by 6 wickets with 9 balls to spare.
