Australia skipper Steve Smith was ruled out of the T20 International series following an injury in the shoulder. After staying with the team for Ranchi T20, he flew back to Australia.

However, he leaves India but left a touching message for the sub-continental nation and his team. While flying back to his country, Smith shared an image on his Instagram account and typed few worthy words for this tour. Have a look at his post;

India it's been an absolute pleasure. The One Day tour didn't go to plan and after injuring my shoulder in the last game I'm unfortunately heading home to give it some rest and rehab. I look forward to watching the boys turn the tides in the next 2 T20s ✈️👍

The Australian team was vanished by India throughout this limited-over series tour, where host won five-match One-Day International series by 4-1. Also, in the T20I series, Aussies are 0-1 down and they have to win both games to gain some pride.

Amidst, Captain Smith injured his shoulder during fifth ODI match and missed T20Is. He will spend some time off from the field before striding for the big Ashes this summer.

First Ashes Test will be played from November 23 in Brisbane.
