Sunrisers Hyderabad resurrected their campaign by beating Punjab in a thriller the other day, winning their third game of the tournament, They now have six points from five games and are off to a great start. The two losses did get them off track but Warner’s brilliant knock, calm and composed leadership and Bhuvi’s great death-bowling skills and the Afghan duo’s spin gave them the much-needed win against Punjab after Vohra’s spectacular 95 gave them a score on a wicket that assisted bowlers.
David Warner’s brilliant form in the tournament has been a huge plus for the SRH, as he has given them great starts in almost every game they’ve played. Shikhar Dhawan has been off-color but looks like he’ll score big pretty soon. Moises Henriques has been handy with his performance. Yuvraj Singh started off with a swashbuckling 62 off 27 but hasn’t quite managed to repeat his performance. Deepak Hooda, the dangerous right-hander hasn’t come out good yet, but the SRH will trust in his abilities and he’ll get a game today. Naman Ojha will be an automatic choice, along with Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan who have bowled brilliantly so far. Siddharth Kaul will get a game as well. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Ashish Nehra too will be automatic choices.
