The veteran Indian cricketers, Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, and Mohammed Shami enjoyed a weekend practice together in the nets, with Indian cricketers slowly seems to be resuming their training. In a video tweeted by Raina on Saturday, the southpaw can be seen facing Shami’s fiery deliveries as well as Piyush Chawla’s loopy leg-spinners in the nets.
Captioning the video of the same on Twitter, Raina wrote: “When you nailed your practice this week and ready to enjoy the weekend practice with none other than @MdShami11 & piyush Chawla. Keeping the momentum going!” Here are some of the snippets of their net session here:

Raina, Shami, and Chawla were expected to play the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which was scheduled to start on March 29, but now the cash-rich league has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the latest reports, the IPL could be held between the end of September and mid-November in the UAE, with COVID-19 cases in India exceeding a million. It seems that the franchise owners ave given green light for hosting the tournament outside India.
Talking to PTI after BCCI’s apex council meeting on Friday, one of the officials said that keeping that in mind, the training camp for Indian cricketers may also be held in Dubai, with Dharamsala and Ahmedabad as other options for the training camp.

The UAE had partially hosted the first half of the IPL in 2014 due to the general elections in India.
