Surisers Hyderabad Fan PV Sindhu heaps praise on Dhoni and Kohli

Before the season began, Sunrisers Hyderabad faced a major blow as they lost their lead batsman and captain David Warner. However, Kane Williamson took over the role and duties of David Warner perfectly and guided SRH towards the top of the points table. SRH is the number one team in the IPL currently and are strongly heading for the first qualifier.

The clinical performances from Hyderabad have earned them a great number of fans this season. One of their great legions of fans is the International badminton player PV Sindhu. The phenomenal athlete is the only Indian woman to have an Olympic silver medal which she earned in the 2016 Summer Olympics. The 22-year old is currently ranked third in the world.

PV Sindhu took some time off from her intense practice hours and made her way to the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad to watch the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. The match was the last league match for SRH also the last of this season at the stadium. The ace shuttler was seen enthusiastically supporting her home state of Hyderabad.

In an interview to Indian Express after the match, Sindhu was asked to choose one of the best players in the Indian team as her doubles players in Badminton. She replied with,  “I would choose one of the best from the Indian team to be my doubles partner. I don’t know how all of them play! There is a lot you can learn from Dhoni and Kohli. There’s a lot you can learn from them even being in a different sport. The aggressiveness, the way they play, there’s lots to see from Dhoni and Kohli.”

Sindhu also informed that she likes to attend the matches of SRH whenever possible and she is free from her busy schedule. “When I’m off from badminton and I’m in Hyderabad, I do come for matches. Last time also I was here and this time again. Also since its a Saturday, I came to enjoy and chill,” one of India’s best Badminton player added.
