The mega-clash between India and Pakistan is all set to take place on October 24 in Dubai. Both teams will kick off their campaign of the T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE and Oman with this high-voltage clash.
Team India poses an undefeated streak against Pakistan in the World Cups and has won all the games in the 50 over World Cup as well as in the T20 World Cup.
Meanwhile, the former cricketers and the experts are also gearing up for this marquee clash. Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar shared images on his social media account where he was seen hanging out with former cricket legends including Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and Zaheer Abbas.
“Chilling with the best of the best. The great Zaheer Abbas, Sunil Gavaskar & Kapil Dev. All set for the cricket ka maha muqabla (All set for cricket’s biggest battle),” wrote Akhtar in his caption.

Other than Team India and Pakistan, Afghanistan, New Zealand and the other two teams who will qualify will form a group together. Each team will play one game against the other in the Super 12 stage. The top two teams from each group will, then, qualify for the semi-final.
Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies and two other teams who will qualify are drawn in the other group. This group is being termed as the group of death as no team will have an easy game and they can’t afford to set their foot off the paddle.
Australia will play South Africa on October 23 what will mark the commencement of the Super 12 stage. India and Pakistan will play against each other on the following day.
