The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a clip of the squad landing at the New York airport on their X (formerly Twitter) handle. In the viral clip, several prominent players, including Shubman Gill, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, and many others, can be seen on the plane and at the airport in New York.

Regarding the T20 World Cup 2024, after arriving in the USA, the Indian team is set to play a warm-up game ahead of the tournament.

They will face Bangladesh in this preparatory match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Saturday, June 1. Following the warm-up game, Team India will officially begin their T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland.
The match will take place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Wednesday, June 5, marking the eighth game of the tournament. Both India and Ireland are part of Group A in the T20 World Cup. Alongside them, Canada, Pakistan, and the USA also form part of this group.
