The chip will collect the data related to players’ fitness, speed his running speed, sweat-related information. At the moment, it will be used as a trial in the match against Afghanistan. If the experiment is successful, it can be done regularly.
This kind of experiment is being used for the first time in cricket. Before this, jerseys with chips installed in them has been used in football. Football teams like Manchester United and Liverpool wear such jerseys in their regular matches. Thereby providing good information about players’ stamina and their health.
