Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is locking horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 59th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. During the first innings, MI batter, Tilak Varma took an outstanding catch to send back Dwayne Bravo on the bowling of Kumar Kartikeya.
Earlier in the game, MI skipper, Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked CSK to bat first and his bowlers didn’t disappoint. As far as the changes are concerned, CSK made no change in their playing XI, while MI brought in debutant Tristan Stubbs and Hrithik Shokeen to replace the likes of Kieron Pollard and M Ashwin.

CSK lost three crucial wickets of Devon Conway, Moeen Ali, and Robin Uthappa in the first two overs of the match itself as Daniel Sams and Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc. Riley Meredith also joined in as he took a couple of wickets and reduced CSK to 39/6 in the first 8 overs itself.
MS Dhoni and Dwayne Bravo started to rebuild the innings, but the latter eventually perished in the 13 over bowled by Kumar Kartikeya after hitting a six in the same over.

Dwayne Bravo smashed a huge six on the first ball of the 13th over, and was dismissed by Kumar Kartikeya on the next ball owing to an outstanding catch by Tilak Varma. Bravo smashed a low full toss by coming down the ground. He connected well and the ball was going aerial and flat, but Tilak Varman puts his hands up which was brave by itself, and managed to grab the ball as well. Kartikeya closes his mouth as a reaction to being impressed almost in disbelief as the ball was going like a bullet.
