The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been a forgettable one for the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI). They looked like a young team full of talent and exuberance, however, they never managed to fire as a team, and unsurprisingly, they struggled to create winning momentum.
Mumbai Indians acquired the services of a few youngsters in Tilak Varma, Dewald Brevis, Hrithik Shooken, Kartikeya Singh, and Ramandeep Singh who looked like the future of this champion team. All these youngsters were mightily impressive in handling pressure and showcasing their abilities and talent at the highest level of T20 cricket.

With the core group very much settled for Mumbai in Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah, and Jofra Archer; these youngsters will be expected to help the team to win a trophy in 2023. However, this season saw the young uncapped cricketers doing well. Tilak Varma, Dewald Brevis, and Kartikeya Singh are straightforward choices.
MI ended the season at the bottom of the This would have hurt the Mumbai fans, Rohit and Co, management, and the owners as well. This would incur a series of positive attitudes and intentions for the same Mumbai to rock up by winning the trophy next year.

As the players were leaving for their respective homes, youngsters like Tilak Varma and Ramandeep Singh came into the limelight as Tilak was caught snatching up a Rohit Sharma bat in the hotel’s lobby. Whilst Rohit was immensely kind to his young all-rounder Ramandeep Singh by assuring him of his support. He further insisted that the latter could call up the former for any help anytime.
