After Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s clash against Rajasthan Royals, the RCB dressing room witnessed a hilarious moment, courtesy of Aussie all-rounder Tim David. The prankster-in-chief decided to have some fun with none other than Virat Kohli by hiding one of his bats—a move that led to a burst of laughter among teammates and fans alike.

As Kohli walked into the dressing room and began unpacking, he noticed something was off. One of his trusted bats was missing. Looking visibly puzzled, he began asking around, hoping someone had seen it. What followed was classic dressing room banter.
“I counted my bats yesterday; it was seven. It’s six now,” Virat Kohli remarked, clearly trying to figure out who had taken it. All the while, Tim David kept a straight face, enjoying the drama unfold. “I want to see how long it takes Virat to realise we have taken one of his bats,” David joked in the behind-the-scenes video shared by RCB. Eventually, David confessed, cheekily saying, “I didn’t take it; I borrowed it.”

Though he started slowly, his composure under pressure and ability to accelerate when needed stood out. His knock included four boundaries and two sixes, marking his 100th T20 half-century—an incredible milestone. Kohli became the first Asian cricketer to hit 100 fifties in T20s and is now second on the all-time list behind David Warner, who leads with 108.
