During the 32nd match of the fourth season of the IPL at Kochi, Ishant Sharma registered his maiden T20 five-wicket haul and career-best figures of 3-0-12-5 against Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Chasing 130 runs to win the match, KTK were bundled out on 74 in 16.3 overs. Ishant was the biggest stakeholder in doing what DC did to KTK as he picked up the wickets of Mahela Jayawardene (4), Parthiv Patel (0), Raiphi Gomez (0), Brad Hodge (0) and Kedar Jadhav (0) within two overs.
