The incident took place in the 15th over of Pakistan’s unsuccessful 288-run chase as the men in green got the required start owing to the brilliant knocks from Saeed Anwar and Sohail. The latter kept on smashing the Indian bowlers from the word go.

Pakistan collapsed after Sohail’s dismissal as they went from 113 for 1 to 239 for 9, eventually getting knocked out of the tournament.
