Trent Boult names the toughest batsman to bowl to in T20 World Cup 2021

The seventh edition of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is all set to begin after the completion of Phase 2 of Indian Premier League 2021 in the UAE. While the fifth and final Test between India and England has been postponed due to a covid scare, the management of both sides might take a call at a later stage regarding this as well. However, with the two tournaments are soon to take place, veteran pacer Trent Boult has shared his favourites.

However, while talking about this during the latest episode of ICC’s “Around The Wicket”, Indian television host Danish Sait asked him which batsman he feels would be the toughest to bowl to during the T20 World Cup. To which Trent Boult said that Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan is “phenomenal” and the captain Babar Azam is “classy” while praising them.

“I think there are so many good players out there. I think Mohammad Rizwan from Pakistan is a phenomenal player as well as Babar Azam who is obviously very classy across all formats,” Boult shared.

Notably, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is set to be played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17, with fans, are eager to witness the clash between the arch-rivals – Pakistan and India on October 24 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. While India will try to keep their momentum on, Pakistan will try to win their first-ever game against India in the ICC event as well.

However, the two teams will play against each other for the first time since their 2019, 50-over World Cup fixture at Manchester, and this will be the sixth time they will take on each other in the global T20 tournament.
