It was one of the best possible days for the Blackcaps on Thursday as they dismantled Indians in all sections of the game. They have made the mockery of the Indian team in the absence of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. In their absence, the Indian batting was looking weak as well. Meanwhile, former English skipper, Michael Vaughan, who is known to follow Indian cricket quite closely tried to take a jibe at Indian batting.

India faced demoralizing loss in Hamilton

In his tweet after India’s demoralizing loss, Vaughan said that he can’t imagine any team being bundled out without even passing the 100-run mark. Perhaps, Vaughan failed to mention the format of the game and also forgot that his own country was bundled out for 77 runs on the other day against Windies side in Test cricket.

It certainly made fans go hard at him, who repeatedly trolled Vaughan by posting the scorecard of England 77-all-out against Windies. Few of them highlighted the fact that England is playing full strength squad against an 8th ranked team while India played without Virat and Dhoni against a 3rd ranked team.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”92 all out India … Can’t believe any team would get bowled out for under a 100 these days.”

Coming to the match, initially, it was Trent Boult and Colin de Grandhomme show, who rattled the defence of Indian batting attack. They exploited the weakness of Indians pretty smartly to bundle them out for meager of 92 runs. Then, Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls made it look easy while chasing.

However, the hosts have avoided the chance of being whitewashed at home by India. Now, they would like to repeat the same in the final ODI to see the series scoreline look better on the paper.

Meanwhile, Team India faced their heaviest loss in the One Day Format of the game, as far as the ball left while defending the tally is concerned. Apart from all those, India has already sealed the series victory.
