Sundar and Khan were seen playing for the Combined County XI against the Indian team in the three-day warm-up match in Durham. TOI comprehends that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) addressed the BCCI about their failure to set up a crew of 11 players, following which the Indian board consented to the plan of two India players playing for the joined area group.

On Thursday, the young Indian wicket-keeper batsman, Rishabh Pant rejoined the Indian team ahead of the five-match Test series after completing his isolation in London.

Informing the same, as per the quotes TOI one of their sources said, “He was asymptomatic and absolutely fine. But the protocols are very clear. So, what happens if a scenario like England (players testing positive during series against Sri-Lanka)repeats itself in the Team India camp? Where does the team get replacements from?”

The BCCI should move quickly on the off chance that they start pondering whether these substitutions must be sent. Anything they choose will ultimately affect the crew that is playing the white-ball series in Sri Lanka right now.
