The video shows the driver waiting for his pickup, unaware of the surprise that awaited him. Moments later, the three Indian players walked toward the car, casually taking their seats one by one. The driver’s reaction was priceless — visibly stunned but managing to maintain composure as he began the ride. The clip ends with the cricketers exchanging a few friendly words with the driver before stepping out, leaving him with a story to cherish for a lifetime.

Such lighthearted moments highlight the human side of athletes, who often become global celebrities yet continue to share simple, relatable experiences like anyone else. Fans praised the players’ humility, while many joked that the lucky driver had just enjoyed the “best Uber ride ever.”

On the field, however, India couldn’t replicate that joy in Adelaide. After posting 264/9, courtesy of Rohit Sharma’s resilient 73, India succumbed to a clinical Australian chase. Matt Short’s 74 and Cooper Connolly’s unbeaten 61 guided the hosts to victory with 22 balls to spare, sealing the series.
