1. Ross Taylor (New Zealand) 181* – against England at Dunedin

It was the ODI between New Zealand and England at Dunedin on 7 March where the experienced New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor guided his team for a famous victory.

Chasing down the 336 runs target (335/9 by England), New Zealand was battling on 86/3 at one stage. After that, Ross Taylor and the wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Latham put a game-changing 187 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. While Latham (71 off 67 balls) lost his wicket at the end of that partnership, Taylor continued his innings to secure a famous victory.

Completing his century in 98 balls, Taylor played an unbeaten knock of 181 off 147 balls (17 fours and 6 sixes) to secure that victory by five wickets with three balls to spare (New Zealand 339/5 in 49.3 overs). Undoubtedly, Taylor won the Player of the Match award.
