Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will play their last game of this season in Indian Premier League (IPL) against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday night. Though they have failed to qualify for the playoffs after winning only four games out of thirteen games. Prior to the last game, RCB captain Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers took to Twitter and thanked their fans for supporting the team through thick and thin and also apologised for the poor performances while they hoped to finish the season on a high note.
“the last over only a five-over game, it was one of the most memorable games of my life and it wasn’t even a result,” said de Villiers.

RCB started IPL 2019 with six consecutive losses due to dismal bowling performance. Though they bounced back well in the last seven games. That was not enough for them to qualify for the playoffs of 2019 IPL. Their last game against Rajasthan Royals was called off due to rain. That game ended their hope of qualifying also. Rajasthan Royals’ key player Shreyas Gopal bagged a hat-trick in a five overs game each side and restricted them within a chasable target. Though the points were divided between the teams, they have no option left to qualify.
