The Indian team played its first warm-up match against Australia ahead of the Super-12 stage of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Monday. In this match, India managed to win the game by six runs. Virat Kohli remained in the headlines for most of the match and the reason for this was his fielding. He could not do anything special in the batting in the match and got out after scoring 19 runs in 13 balls.

However, Virat Kohli garnered a lot of limelight with his fielding. Virat first got a run out with a brilliant throw and then took a wonderful catch with one hand on the boundary. After not doing anything special in the batting, Virat started practicing batting in the nets immediately after the end of the match.

Former India skipper, Virat Kohli along with the Indian coaching staff spent nearly 40 minutes in the nets at the Gabba. He was the only Indian in the nets at that time to practice batting.

The special thing about Kohli’s practice was that he practiced batting in the nets with Pakistani captain Babar Azam. There was a different scene in the nets when Kohli and Babar were practicing batting side-by-side in the nets.
