Indian cricketers had a fun training session at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium on Thursday evening, with many of them trying their hand at bowling. This included Virat Kohli rolling his arm over, Ravindra Jadeja bowling right-arm off-spin, Kuldeep bowling with the right hand, and Jasprit Bumrah trying hands at left-arm off-spin.

Even Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav did some spin bowling, while Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Shami, and Ashwin did their regular practice. A video of the training session was posted on the Instagram handle of the BCCI with the caption: “Everybody wanted to be a bowler at training yesterday. Everyone trying their ‘Luck’now isn’t it?”

The training session was a welcome break for the Indian team, which has been on a winning streak in the ongoing World Cup. The team has won all five of its matches so far and is looking to continue its good run against England on Sunday.

However, there is a concern over the fitness of all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who is suspected to have a Grade 1 ligament tear in his ankle. He is likely to miss the game against England, but the BCCI has said that his injury is not serious. India will be hoping to get back to winning ways against England on Sunday and continue its quest for World Cup glory.

“Yes, Hardik is likely to miss the next match vs England in Lucknow. It is more of a precaution at this stage and nothing serious,” a BCCI official told CricketNext.

The fun bowling practice session is a sign that the Indian team is in a good mood and is confident ahead of their match against England. It is also a testament to the depth of bowling talent in the Indian team. Pandya’s absence is a blow to the Indian team, but they have enough depth to cover for his absence. They will be looking to continue their winning streak against England on Sunday.
