The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli is gearing up for the IPL 2020 as he has been undergoing some intense training sessions. The social media handles of the franchises have been abuzz with some pictures and videos from players’ training sessions.

Virat has been known for his incredible fielding as he never shies away from throwing himself on the field to save every possible run for his team and has taken some exceptional catches on the field. But AB de Villiers’ ‘Superman Catch’ was a league apart and even Kohli was in disbelief looking at it back then.

AB de Villiers took the catch against during a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2018 as he grabbed Alex Hales’ off Moeen Ali’s delivery. The bowler as well as the batsman wouldn’t have ever thought that ABD could’ve managed to convert it into a catch and send the batsman packing.

The excitement around IPL 2020 is reaching its peak as the much-anticipated cash-rich league is commencing on September 19 in Abu Dhabi with former champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) locking horns with Mumbai Indians (MI). IPL missed the April-May window due to the novel coronavirus pandemic but the tournament was rescheduled to September-November after the T20 World Cup was postponed.
